Welcome to Mellonial! While we've designed Mellonial to be user-friendly and intuitive, sometimes you might encounter a small hiccup. Don't worry, most common issues have simple solutions, and we're here to help you get back on track quickly.
Experiencing Access Difficulties?
I can't access Mellonial or specific pages.
Important: Mellonial is primarily designed for easy access. If you're having trouble getting to the platform or specific sections, it's usually a quick fix!
Solution:
Check your internet connection: Mellonial needs a stable internet connection to load properly. Ensure you're connected to Wi-Fi or have a strong cellular signal.
Refresh the page: A simple page refresh can often resolve temporary loading issues.
- Click the Refresh icon (often a circular arrow) in your browser's address bar.
- Alternatively, press
F5(on Windows) orCmd + R(on Mac).
Clear your browser cache and cookies: Sometimes old data stored in your browser can interfere with how Mellonial loads new information.
- For Chrome: Click the three dots (More) > More tools > Clear browsing data...
- For Firefox: Click the three lines (Open Application Menu) > Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear Data... under "Cookies and Site Data."

Try a different browser: If one browser isn't working, try accessing Mellonial from another popular browser (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Edge).
Job Listings or Company Profiles Not Displaying Correctly
Jobs or companies are missing, not loading, or look incomplete.

Solution:
- Check your internet connection: As mentioned, a stable connection is key.
- Refresh the page: Give the page a fresh start by refreshing it.
- Clear browser cache and cookies: This can help ensure you're seeing the most up-to-date information. Follow the steps in the "Experiencing Access Difficulties?" section.
- Adjust your filters: If you're on the All Job Listings page or Companies page, make sure your search filters aren't too restrictive, which might be hiding results.

Tip: If the issue persists across multiple pages or after clearing your cache, it might be a temporary issue on our end. Please try again after a few minutes.
Issues When Adding a New Job Listing
My job posting isn't appearing, or I'm getting an error when submitting the form.

Solution:
- Review all required fields: Ensure all fields marked with an asterisk (*) or indicated as mandatory are filled out completely and correctly.
- Check for validation errors: After attempting to submit, look for specific error messages that appear next to fields. These messages will guide you on what needs to be fixed (e.g., "Invalid email format," "Job title is too short").
- Internet connection: A weak or intermittent internet connection can disrupt the submission process. Verify your connection is stable.
- Try a different browser: Sometimes browser-specific issues can prevent form submission.
Warning: If you receive a generic "An unexpected error occurred" message, please take a screenshot of the entire page and contact our support team with details.
Search or Filter Results Are Incorrect
My search isn't finding the right jobs/companies, or filters aren't working as expected.

Solution:
- Check your spelling: Even a small typo can prevent your search from finding matches. Double-check your keywords.
- Simplify your search terms: Instead of a very long phrase like "Senior Software Engineer with 5 years experience in AI," try simpler terms like "Software Engineer" or "AI Engineer."
- Review active filters: Make sure you haven't accidentally applied filters that narrow down your results too much.
- Click the Clear Filters button to reset all filters and see if that reveals the results you're looking for.
- Use keywords from the job description: If you're looking for something very specific, try using exact keywords you'd expect to see within a job description.
